ACUPOINT.
Graduation work(HK POLYU).
ACUPOINT investigates the body as an active system of pressure, tension, and response. Garments operate as points of intervention rather than passive coverings.
Building on the observational approach developed in SPECIMEN, the project shifts toward direct physical interaction with the body through the concept of acupoints—localized areas of control, support, and release. Knit and woven fabrics are combined to form functional zones that respond to different needs for flexibility, stability, and restraint. Straps, bindings, and harness-like constructions map and activate tension lines across the body, allowing garments to adjust and move with the wearer rather than remain static.
