SPECIMEN explores the body as an observed and constructed subject rather than a naturally whole form.
Through the combination of varied knitting techniques and synthetic PU panels, the project creates tension between softness and structure, skin and artificial support. Construction details such as exposed zippers and fabric bindings are deliberately revealed, presenting the garment as an assembled object—fragmented, modular, and under examination.
Developed as an early material and structural study, SPECIMEN establishes a way of working—treating garments as systems to be observed, tested, and constructed rather than finalized forms.
